I wanted to answer the question of why I would spend time writing this blog. Well, it is mostly for my own reference, but I do hope that some of what I write may end up helping someone else understand the topics that I (as any other CCIE candidate I assume) struggle to gain in-depth knowledge on.
I am currently studying for the CCIEv5 Routing and Switching exam and I am using this blog to further cement the knowledge I am gaining in the process of studying - the blog entries also serve as reminders of what I have found studying the topics and working with them in both the lab and real world.
I also hope that if someone finds any errors in my posts, that they call me out on it, so that I do not have any wrong information in my posts (and more importantly - any wrong information in my head regarding the topics I am studying).
The entries are all to be considered works-in-progress just like my own learning - it never stops improving.
I shall leave off with a quote from Aristotle: "The more you know, the more you know you don't know."
Well put, old man.

Edit (16-11-2016): I have not been very active on the blog this past year+, but this might change come 2017. I have agreed with my employer (the one at work as well as the one at home) to begin my CCIE studies anew with an expected successful lab exam sometime mid to late 2017. However, I do not currently know how much time I will be able to dedicate to updating this blog - we shall see.
